i saw this movie where a girl hires a guy to be her date at a wedding, and there was this scene where he says "i'd rather fight with you than make love to someone else", and it got me thinking... almost all romantic movies have The Scene, you know, the one where he's being really serious and dramatic and saying something that's supposed to be magical and make the female audience go awwwwwww.

they never say "i love you", it's more like the writers are always trying to come up with new ways to say i love you without actually saying it. and i think the writers put a looot of effort into it; it's almost more important than the kiss or sex scene...

and i've seen a ton of romantic movies, but hell, i can only remember a few Scenes ._.
jerry maguire says "you complete me" or something, in bridget jones it's "i like you just as you are", i think, and in the harry met sally movie it's that rant of his where he lists all the weird little things he likes about her (probably one of my faves)... and that's it, i can't remember any more ._.

i can't believe i've seen so many romantic movies and so few Scenes actually stuck with me -_-

about the "stereotype" comic...
it seems lots of people didn't read the artist comment. and when you comment a deviation without reading the artist comment, you will make a complete fool out of yourself :|

i said i chose a completely random stereotype, not one that actually exists about finns. of course i could choose an actual stereotype about finns, like us being alcoholics, depressed, quiet, racist, and getting bat-shit drunk and stabbing each other in the weekends. or, being born in germany and all, i could use german stereotypes, like chugging down beer all the time and eating bratwurst and sauerkraut and wearing leather pants 24/7 (i've heard all of these many times), or like one of my former teachers said, "really organized, on time, hardworking, efficient, no-nonsense people".

which is just a nicer way of saying "military", as in nazi.

i just love how she actually thought it was ALLRIGHT to list stereotypes about me just because she considered them positive ones -_- and i kept telling her i moved here when i was five and don't remember anything about germany, and she just couldn't let it go. like it was in my "genes" to be like that, and that i should tell her she was right even though i don't know more about germany than any average finn

i've been wondering what anthros eat. the idea of actual animals as cattle or pets in anthro world kinda freaks me out :/
and yet, the idea of them all being vegetarian doesn't appeal to me either.
i guess most people just ignore the whole thing, and when someone eats a steak or eggs nobody asks where it came from :XD:

i just found out i've been subbed by an admin :B
usually when i find out someone subs me, i draw them something as thanks, but i feel kinda weird going to an admin and going "heeeey, what do ya want me to draw?" :XD:

the other day i tuned in to the ending of a movie that looked like it was made in the late 90s-early 2000. there was this girl who looked about 15 or so, very familiar, and then i realised it was the bella chick (kirsten, kristen?). and at the end of the movie, two boys appear, one white, one dark, and they love her and want her to choose one of them. she has trouble choosing.

you have GOT to be kiddin me.

remember when i said reality shows have trumped my attempt at reality show parody?

well, the stu comics get a lot of "omg he's so hot, i love him!" comments.

once again, reality has trumped my parody :|

i saw underworld on tv a while ago.. it got me thinking what the motive of werevolves would be in a story.. i'm not sure if most myths say that they eat humans, or if they just get an urge to kill them... i know what the motive of vampires is, obviously, but the profile of a werewolf...

and i seriously don't get why wolves and vampires are enemies. it makes no sense (unless wolves eat humans, in which case it's rivalry for food, but the world is so overpopulated this shouldn't be a problem...)

it's almost like someone just randomly decided that they are enemies, period :XD:

i've been thinking about an idea to parodize all those reality shows where they do a make-over or go on a weird date or re-do something, you know? i wanted it to be really weird an absurd, to make it as funny as possible. i was toying with all these options when i saw an ad on tv for this show: [link]

.....

my attempt at a parody has been trumped.... by reality :|

it seems many of my watchers either don't pay attention, or can't read very well :|

i clearly stated i dislike using japanese words when speaking of non-asian fandoms. i have no problem with them, if you're speaking of anime or manga. and by that i don't mean the ones based on western fandoms.

i never said mixing languages is a bad thing, or that japanese sucks.

some people really need to learn how to read. or at least make sure they actually understand what i say before freaking out and ranting. they just made themselves look incredibly stupid.

that's all.
  • Mood: Neutral
have you noticed how people use japanese words even when speaking of western fandoms?

like, "omg supernatural yaoi!"

._.

"who is the uke, edward or jacob?"

it just... doesn't get any more retarded than that :XD:

ok, i'm sorry, i said knutsching is a word and it really isn't :XD: i wasn't thinking... the thing is, knutsch and knutschen are german words, but the form knutsching doesn't exist :P

german words sneak into daniel's speech when he isn't paying attention (like english words sometimes sneak into mine ^^) and he sorta bends them to sound more english, he doesn't really notice this, and everyone was googling the word and i was all "oh man..." :XD: no wonder you couldn't find anything! :'D
