-friends with richard since early teens; met marcus through richard
-movie producer and millionare
-has the public completely fooled about his sexuality
-ears and tail were stumped as a puppy, for cultural reasons
-he dislikes the idea of something being done to him without his permission, so he had his parents killed
-he likes the look, but, it's a matter of principle
-is well aware of trends, but they don't affect his own lifestyle at all
-after proposing to his wife, told her he was gay and that she could have anything she wanted if she played along
-she accepted, and they have their respective lovers, and are living quite contently in separate parts of the mansion
-they have two small boys, whom john loves very much
-he has not touched their ears or tails; that will be their own decision to make when they grow up
-is considering coming out of the closet when his kids are 20 or so (at least he can afford their therapy)
-enjoys the simple pleasures of life; a good steak, some quality whiskey, a montecristo cigar, an orgy
-next to richard, is one of the few who gets away with being rude to marcus
-john and marcus are each others (virtually) favourite playmates
-has hired a young prodigy author to write his biography (he's had a colourful life...)
-said author is a total bitch
