This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

First of all, WOW, you're strips are amazing, can't get enough of them! Sorry, had to put that out there, cos I've watched ever series you've made for the last 6 months, and I'm at a loss as to how you come up with such amazing material EVERY DAY! Fountain of pure skill, much?!?
And second of all, I wanted to apologise.
About 4 months ago, I commented on one of your pieces, and I timed it a little terribly; it was the day before you flamed all of your critics, and denied them access to your . So my little joke got a bit misinterpreted, and my other account was permanently locked. No hard feelings over it, I hope, and if you think you can forgive me my mistake, please let me know somehow.
Otherwise, I'll just keep reading your work like I usually do, and thank you: Your comics are AWESOME, they make me laugh every time I read them.
Keep up the great work, another one of your seemingly-ubiquitous Fans
comment (Question) for those who know what 'true art' is: (or anybody else)
I've noticed all those who comment on her lack to "improve" her art.
Well as a person who have NO talent when it comes to drawing, I just wonder if it's not the 'world' of comic-art you might not understand? I read A LOT of comics both online and in paper.
Isn't the point in comics that it has to look the same every day??
I mean..there can be comics with different artist drawing it from time to time and you can often se om the style when a new artist takes over. But the artist's style doesn't seem to change a lot. Everybody have THEIR style and it's what you can recognize as his/her work.
In my oppinion the talent to draw the same thing again and again and make them look the same and clearly so that you know who it is, it's amazing to me and a whole other category of art.
..Yeah yeah.. I know that several say they all look alike but funny enough.. I've never had the trouble of who's who. Sometimes the names are shortly forgotten but not mixed up.
It has to be a matter of actually reading the comic regularly and NOTICE the characters and what's written. Example: I've noticed how many people who (no matter the artist) doesn't read the artist's comment. OFTEN it can be very informative but many seems to se it as a bunch of black dots where they just scroll by.
Anyway, depending of the type of comic, I also think this one is just as much about the humor and puns that are WRITTEN. The ART of comedy is just as much what is said and what is done. Just as it is on TV and in several other comics. (whether it hits your sence of humor or not)
Like.. there are MANY comics out there where it's drawn in a way I would NOT call good by just about any standard. But they are popular anyway because they are so damn funny and hits what lots see as humor and want to read.
THAT is what I see as ART when it comes to comics. No mather the style, genre, subject or what ever makes many people like the comic and reading it.. it's THAT "thing" that makes it popular that defines if its a success.
That's why comic-art can NEVER be compaired to other categories of art. IT'S NOT the same and can never be it.
God knows that there's "art" in the world and here on dA that can be discussed from now to armageddon whether it's art or just a bunch of crap
The problem comes when people try to compair art forms. It's not possible and totally waste of time (sorry to those who might take this offensive -don't hate me )and why even bother trying?
Enjoy what you personally DO like and see as art and leave it at that.
These are smart words, there's no doubt of that. I think what most people are amazed by is that there are artists (of the same art form) with far more talent that are kind of left out in the cold. I personally don't care. I think those excellent artists should get noticed, but I also understand that this is DA, people like fanart. Fanart is what makes up a lot of the popular page and fanart is what got Whitedog on the popular page. That's just the way it works, so nothing against Whitedog. She didn't choose to be on there.
One thing that has irked me a bit on her page is the past drama about critique. She says these are sketches, solely for fun, yet won't accept ways to perhaps make them better? When I sketch, hell when I draw an elaborate piece, it's all for fun. But that doesn't mean I don't want to improve. I guess all I'm saying is that I found it a bit childish and rude to block people simply because they thought that, as an artist, she might want some help improving.
And yes, comics are a very difficult art form. Pain in my ass in fact, but damn are they fun.
